Trees in Our School
There are many types of trees in our school.
Here are a few of the main trees. Horse Chestnut, Ash, Elderberry, Oak, Beach, Birch, Spanish chestnut and Cherry. Also under these trees there is ivy, bracken and bramble. Most of these trees are in the hedgerow to the left of the school. There is also a group of sorbose trees in the hedgerow as well.

                    Our trip to the Courthouse
On October 3rd we were invited to the Courthouse for a visit to see the Birds’ Nests Exhibition that were on display, made out of thing we could find in our home/school. We ran down to the Courthouse after small break and went into the Courthouse. When we got there we were amazed at all the people who made birds’ nests! Kilcommon, Crossbridge, Men’s Sheds, Active Retirement and Women’s Network made a nest and we were all amazed at how much work was put into all display and it was a great community effort. We all had so much fun making the nests and going to see them in the courthouse. We were also so thankful to the courthouse and for inviting us down and for displaying our artwork. We hope we can work on another project with the people in the Courthouse because they are so kind and we had so much fun doing it.
