The School

About Us

The school was built in 1961 with just three class rooms. This year the school is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary. There will be events run in May and June to celebrate this including a garden party which will take place in the school on the 18th of June at 8pm. All past pupils are invited to attend.

The General Purpose Room and an extra classroom were added in 1981.

Two new classrooms were also completed in 2010.

There are three playgrounds in the school.
The infants have a rubberised safe-surface play area.
The tennis and basket ball courts are used for much more during the school day and as with every school the football pitch is a favourite with very many children

The school garden contains a separate section for each classroom, and many children like to spend some of their break times caring for the plants. The children are currently working on sowing and planting a variety of items to brighten up the garden for the summer.
