Tinahely National School

Every June the school holds its sport-for-all day in the nearby GAA pitch.
Activities include racing (skipping, sack race, wheel-barrow race, sprinting and longer distance running), obstacle courses, penalty shoot outs, tugs of war between pupils and at times with help from parents, shot put and other throwing activities, a game of football, and a bouncy castle.

The parents assocation provides a tasty barbeque for all concerned.
